How to press pause: Take charge of your life

Almost all of the time we are faced with our struggles at a whirlwind. We get so automatic, we do things fast-forward. We forgot how to slow down, calm down and surrender. We are very good at multitasking, we forgot how to do things one after another. This is the hard way of dealing with these kinds of matters. We already lost our focus to the things that matters to us the most--to go for a walk with your dog at the forest. Treat your mom and dad to a dinner date. These are the things that make us happy and feel connected and complete--we should do this more. We worry too much of things that can go wrong. We hardly let go of the past. We forgot how to take it slow, to press the pause button. To think things over. To take our precious time in this world. Isn't it good in the feeling when we do this? This is surrendering to the present moment. Our worries, anxiety and loneliness dissolve. Give it to the present moment. Let go and let things unfold in its natural way. Like a flower that slowly blooms, the water that slowly flows from the falls. Like the air that we breahe that's fresh and clean. Let us be guided and reminded that we can always hit pause and take a break.
