How to Surrender and Let Go: Acceptance

Often times we are faced with situations where we are to make hard decisions and we tend to control things over and over. Isn't an instant relief if we can only let it be and allow things to unfold naturally? In other words, give it to God. With ease, time will come, it will be taken care of. It is a hard fact to just let things be and not do anything to fix it. More importantly, when we know we can change things and tweak some instances in our lives even the people that we love. But the truth is, we cannot change people. It is unloving. It is like changing the way you are, a person's whole personality which is impossible. We can only just let them be. A more loving way to let things as they come and go is through acceptance. It is a concept where we surrender to the instances that we are in, fully letting go of any judgements and outcomes. For instance, you encountered a person who is sick and has only months to live. Yes, there are many options like alternative medicine and surgery but the fact that the person doesn't want to suffer anymore and have made the decision to he, himself to let go, even if we want that person to undergo such actions to save his life, Instead, we can save our energy and efforts to stop and just listen to that person's request that it's time to allow things to go on at their own pace and time--To let things as they are. Surrendering and allowing are two powerful words. When we use it properly, it can alter the course of our lives. When we do this, we permit the higher power to take over and do its work to properly mold our lives. Just be patient and understanding of everything that comes to you, just know that it's perfectly okay to let things be because there is a higher power that guides and routes our way. To end this, prayer helps you to feel at ease and let god handle it for you. Have a good conversation with God through prayer. There's is a saying, "Ask and you shall receive". The universe also has endless possibilities for everyone. Be always excited and most of all accepting of the things as they are.
