Let Things Unfold on its Own Pace: The Art of Patience

Have you ever waited for something important in your life? You have been waiting for a big break, you know in your heart that you really deserve it. You have prepared for it your whole life so that when it finally comes, you are so ready to grab it. But then beneath and between those times, that requires tons of what we call--Patience We might not know it but we like to control things, we might half of the time, tend to manipulate things. May it be a promotion, an assignment from a coach, a family gathering. Its so vicious that we have already lost the magic of waiting for nature to come into fruition. To a deep level--to surrender. Or give it to God. So here are the ways to release our shackles from the situation: Take a Break: There is a notion that taking a sabbatical from anything is a form of defeat, especially if you are a Type A person who likes to get things done. While this might sound counterintuitive, but the new hip now-- is doing less is more. We can speed up in anything that we do if we reflect on things, refresh our minds and spirit. Get clarity on hand. So that when we get back to take care of the things that we do or to our commitments-- we are much stronger. Seek Advice or get a Coach: There is value on being a learner, a student or an apprentice, because you get to learn non-stop as well as grow continuously. Growth is important, we get to obtain new things because we let good information be absorbed into our heads. Not only it enhances our minds but having a teacher or a coach is a form of an accountability partner, in that way, you are not alone in your journey. You are being mentored every step of the way as well as you will be warned of the things that your coach have already experienced that resulted into failure so that you may avoid it. Its that helpful. Pray and Meditate: There is a quote that says "Those who are certain of the outcome can afford to wait and wait without anxiety.” And we are really stronger that we think. And if a certain thing is really for you, it will be for you. Prayer and meditation are powerful-- It strenghthens our relationship with God or to our spirituality as well as it gives us clarity of mind. We know that we have taken the right step forward because we came from a place of peace not chaos, to a place to rest rather than noise and to a place of forgiveness versus hatred. The next time we will experience "A waiting-time" episodes in our lives, we may want to be perfectly still and be grounded beacuse the universe has in store for us the best break ever.
